Required skills: Ability to analyze existing Microsoft SQL Server 2000 environment, and conduct planning, testing, and deployment phases for migrate to Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Conduct successful migration pilot in non-production mode, and assist with production migration. Key artifact will be documentation of detailed steps on executing the migration. Analysis would include any code changes required within SQL or stored procedures for the upgrade. The existing Microsoft SQL server environment supports connections from: IIS Tomcat jrun This project may also involve the analysis of the existing column based data storage to a new data structure. Analysis of performance impact would be required. It is expected that an installation guide and plan would be created for the actual implementation

Required skills: Ability to analyze existing Microsoft Windows Server 2000 and Active Directory environment, and conduct planning, testing, and deployment phases to migrate to Windows Server 2008 including Active Directory, including all configuration/environment changes, security/authentication changes, and domain/AD changes. Conduct successful migration pilot in non-production mode, and assist with production migration. Key artifact will be documentation of detailed steps on executing the migration. Microsoft Server upgrades including the installation of the following software servers and applications contained: Transbase Oracle SQL Microsoft Server Active Directory Jrun Tomcat MS Access

Remote project:
• Good general working knowledge of UNIX, including some working knowledge of Linux.
• Extremely proficient with AIX 5.3/6.1 working in a pSeries environment. This includes software maintenance as well as performance monitoring and problem analysis/troubleshooting. Very knowledgeable with pSeries virtualization concepts such as Virtual SCSI, Virtual Networking and the Shared Processor pool. Very comfortable working with, supporting and maintaining VIO servers including versions 1.5 and 2.1. A high-level knowledge of NPIV also helpful.
• Strong knowledge of Hardware Management Consoles (HMC's) and able to support and maintain for both POWER5 and POWER6 environments.
• Working knowledge of clustering solutions such as HACMP and GPFS helpful.
• Ambitious and strong desire to learn new concepts.

Skill: Human Factors Engineer . Has a PHD or Masters degree in Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, with experience in Human/computer interaction, or human factors engineering with respect to IT solutions.
Needs approx 1-3 years experience in applying Human Factors engineering to IT solutions.
